I'm excited to announce that I have teamed up with Building Youth Around the World as a way of giving back in the form of Humanitarian Aid. 5% of all sales will be donated to BYAW to help their amazing cause. The people who founded BYAW are some of the most passionate and amazing people I've met, and their drive to help youth is inspirational. They have helped children all around the planet with living essentials, healthcare, education, training, and the list goes on and on. BYAW, in so many ways, has helped children achieve dreams they never knew were possible.
Building Youth Around the World is a global children’s foundation whose goal it is to provide life-saving care and compassion to children on a local, national, and worldwide level.
Building Youth Around the World was the vision and dream of Braedon McCracken. With help from many others, that dream became a reality and a global children’s foundation was started in 2009. When the foundation was first established, Braedon was 13 years old and, at that time, he had a keen desire to make a true difference in the lives of as many children as was possible. His first Humanitarian project in 2009 was for his Eagle Scout project and it took place in Iloilo, Philippines where he personally delivered school and nutritional supplies to hundreds of children and their families. Since that time, he and other youth have completed numerous awe-inspiring humanitarian projects in many places to include the U.S., Mexico, Puerto Rico, Samoa, Mali, Liberia, Ghana, India, Ukraine, Fiji, Venezuela, the Navajo and Goshute Nations, and many other needed areas in the world. As a part of the work being done by Building Youth Around the World, to date, forty-nine (49) Eagle Scouts awards have been attained and many other recognitions have taken place with a number of other youth. The desire of all the young people involved in this foundation to truly make a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate is a lesson of love and compassion for all of us. We are grateful for their desire to do good in a world that can be difficult, at best, for so many children.
The three main focuses of Building Youth Around the World are:
- Provision of essentials for living to underprivileged youth and their families
- Numerous healthcare related support for children and their families to include nutrition, building of clinics, surgeries, etc.
- Education through better schooling, self-improvement, and leadership development and training in all its facets as well as building schools and providing scholarships for higher education or skills / craft labor attainment.
The core vision of the foundation is to increase the potential for success in those youth (ages 0 to 19) in the world that lack the means and abilities to live, learn, grow and thrive in their younger years. The work Building Youth Around the World accomplishes helps children and young adults become more productive and giving in the communities in which they reside. Through genuine, yet simple acts of compassion and love, Building Youth Around the World helps change many young people’s lives in such a way that they have a better opportunity to become leaders in the societies and countries in which they live.
